The definition of telekung is clothing worn by mostly a Muslim woman during their daily prayer to cover their whole body except their face. Telekung is when you wear it often if you are at home and not wearing clothing that covers your aurah because without a proper prayer outfit, one’s solat would not be accepted as the basic requirement is to be fully covered if you’re a woman. Moreover, telekung is known as a prayer veil and woman were being told that as a women, we must cover ourselves from head to toe in lose fitting clothes in order to perform solah. Telekung has its own unique design. It brings comfort to people and also light to perform their ibadah.
